Privacy policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This policy explains what personal information The Style Sync (thestylesync.com) collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It is written with the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA) in mind, and the rights described here are available to every visitor, wherever you live.
1. Who we are
The Style Sync is published by EGITEK TECNOLOGIA LTDA, a company registered in Brazil (CNPJ 50.887.179/0001-19). You can reach us about privacy at privacy@thestylesync.com.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you send us
The site has no accounts, sign-up forms or logins. The only information you give us directly is what you include in an email: your address, your name if you share it, and your message.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Server logs: IP address, date and time, page visited, referring address and browser type.
- Cookies and similar technologies used for audience measurement and advertising, described in section 4.
In CCPA terms, the categories are identifiers (IP address, cookie IDs), internet activity (pages viewed, interactions with ads) and approximate location inferred from IP address. We do not collect sensitive personal information.
3. How we use it
- To reply to messages and correction requests.
- To measure which guides are useful and improve the site.
- To show advertising, which keeps the site free.
- To keep the site secure and comply with legal obligations.
4. Advertising and third-party cookies
Ads on this site are served by Google (Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager) and advertising partners working with Google.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info. Opting out does not reduce the number of ads you see; it makes them less personalized.
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them.
5. Sale and sharing of personal information
We do not sell personal information for money. Allowing advertising cookies on this site may count as “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out at any time by turning off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings, by using a browser that sends the Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as an opt-out request, or by emailing privacy@thestylesync.com with the subject “Do not sell or share”.
6. Who we share information with
- Hosting and content delivery providers.
- Advertising and analytics platforms, as described above.
- The email service we use to answer messages.
- Authorities, when required by law.
7. How long we keep it
- Server logs: up to 6 months.
- Emails you send us: up to 2 years after we reply.
- Cookies: for the period set by each provider, or until you delete them.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights. Email privacy@thestylesync.com; we answer within 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request on your behalf.
9. Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
We are based in Brazil, and some of our service providers operate in the United States and other countries. Information may be processed in those countries under contractual data protection safeguards.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident puts your information at risk, we will notify you as the law requires.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
